  • Summer Track = Speedwork
One of the best things about summer track is using it as pressure free speedwork while you’re building endurance for fall racing. Cher Armstrong took advantage of the TCRC Summer meet on 7/8 at Vestal High School in Vestal, NY. She ran all 4 races in the meet.
Results: 1 Mile – 7:01 (6th); 400m – 1:36 (6th); 800m – 3:25 (8th); 2 Mile – 14:14 (5th)
  • The real reason they climbed the Empire State Building was to give us respect and hang our flag.
GO RALEIGH WALKERS!
  • Light Up the Night
Keith Pryor finished 15th in 50-54 age group, and 526 out of 835 finishers, at the Fireball Classic 5 km in Knoxville, TN with a chip time of 34:04 (gun time 34:52).
  • 4 on the 4th
Cher Armstrong celebrated the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration by competing in the 4 on the 4th in Endwell, NY. She finished 53rd overall, 12th female and 5th in the 30-39 age group with a time of 29:52.

She will make her debut during the 2026 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday July 24 in New York City.
