We’re pleased to officially announce the addition of a new athlete to our team to start the 2023 competition year. Mike Bartholomew of Westhampton Beach, NY has joined our roster. Bartholomew is the 2022 USATF Masters Race Walk Athlete of the Year in the M40 division. Prior to time away from the sport as he advanced his career as a Priest in the Catholic Church, Mike was a 2x member of the US 50 km National Team.
Mike’s goals this year: win age group at USATF Masters Outdoor Championships in Greensboro, NC in July. If possible and calendar lines up right, put in a 35 km time to see about qualifying for 2024 35 km walk US Olympics Trials. Ultimately preparing for World Masters Athletics Championships in Sweden in 2024.
