Dean Freitag will be making a trip to NY City to compete in the prestigious Millrose Games. Millrose is the oldest and most famous indoor track & field meet in the world. Held at the equally famous Armory Track & Field Center in Washington Heights, many of sport’s best athletes will go head to head on what is billed as the fastest track in world.
Dean will be racing in the USATF 1 Mile Championship event, the first such event for him after a successful championship collegiate career at Rio Grande University. His main competition should come from Cody Risch, Sam Allen, Jordan Crawford & Carson Johnson.
In addition to going for his initial All-American status and a possible Millrose victory, Dean will looking to go under the existing Team Record of 6:30.8 by Dan Nehnevaj set in 2022.
