The inaugural USA Marathon (open) and Half Marathon (masters) championship events were held in Santee, CA on January 11. Toeing the line for the Raleigh Walkers were Jordan Crawford and Bricyn Healey at the Marathon distance and Michael Bartholomew at the Half Marathon.
Marathon
In the USA Championship, Jordan Crawford finished 2nd (3rd overall) in 3:31:30, followed by Bricyn who finished 4th (7th overall) in 3:50:39. Both Jordan and Bricyn achieved the Team USA standard to compete in the 2026 World Race Walk Team Championships in Brazilia, Brazil on April 12th.
Half Marathon
In the USA Masters Championship, Michael Bartholomew finished 2nd in the Men’s race (17th overall) and 1st in the 45-49 age group. In doing so, he set a pending US Record of 2:17:32.
