Briycn Healey and Jordan Crawford made their annual Team USA trip, this time to Brasilia, Brazil, to compete in the World Team Championships.
Healey began the day in the Marathon, where he was the top USA finisher in 46th place with a time of 3:48:15. Bricyn set a new personal record by nearly 2 minutes in humid conditions and at altitude. Only 2 USA athletes competed in this distance, so no team score was achieved.
Crawford followed in early afternoon, racing the Half Marathon. The hotter weather had some effect in the 2nd half of the race. Jordan finished a solid race in 52nd place with a time of 1:39:39, 3rd on Team USA, which finished 13th in the team scoring with 140 points.
