Dan Nehnevaj and Rebecca Garson travelled to Harry Wright Lake in Whiting, NJ to compete in the USATF 5 km National Championships on Sunday 9/24. In they cool, wet conditions, they did not disappoint, both earning silver medals for 2nd place finishes.
Dan took 2nd overall for the men, behind Olympian Nick Christie, in a time of 20:45. This is a new road PR for the distance and Team Record, besting his 21:02 from 2022. Rebecca was 2nd in the 55-59 age group and 12th overall, in a time of 36:21.
