  • Alexey Runs For Nicaragua Alexey Popov finished 4th overall & 3rd male in the Run for Nicaragua 5 km race in Yorktown, VA. His time was 20:39.
  • Tom Finn Joins Team Tom Finn, one of the premier Masters Race Walkers over the last decade in the Northeast, has joined the Raleigh Walkers after relocating to NC. We look forward to everything Tom has to offer as an experienced athlete in helping grow the team.
  • Alexey Wins Run for the Stage 5 km Alexey Popov raced to victory at the Run for the Stage 5 km in 20:22, winning by 8 seconds over his nearest rival, who was 24 years younger, with a late kick to the finish.
  • Crawford Sets New Half Marathon Best Fresh off his excellent performance at altitude in Brazil, Jordan Crawford was back at it in Czechia in another Team USA event. On what is likely the fastest course in the world, Jordan did not disappoint in finishing 41st at the Podebrady Gold Meeting in a new best of 1:33:33, a full 5:18 improvement on his personal best and team record. In case you were wondering, that’s 7:08 mile pace walking.
  • Chapla Crushes Concordia Rachel Chapla made the trip to Concordia University in Seward, NE for the Concordia Twilight meet to race 5000m against some of the best in the NAIA ranks. Rachel covered the 12.5 lap event in 28:30.58 to finish in 4th place overall and 1st amongst the women. The time is a new W30-34 team record by 3:27 and her 3000m split of 17:00.11 bests that record by 1:30 as well. Race results and video at www.raleighwalkers.com

  • Crawford Cruising to Czechia Jordan Crawford will be competing in the Podebrady Gold Meeting in Czechia on March 8th as part of the 15 athlete Team USA delegation. Jordan will be on the Half Marathon "A" team with Nick Christie and Emmanuel Corvera. The full Team USA roster consists of 6 women and 9 men.   • Popov Takes 2nd at Homefront 8K Alexey Popov continued his excellent spring racing season by taking 2nd overall in the Helping the Homefront 8K in Virginia Beach, VA. His time of 33:56 was almost a minute ahead of 3rd place and gives him another team record for his efforts.
