Best Race Walking Team in the USA Open to new members 24/7/365
  • Combined Champion Clemmons
Patricia Clemmons made the trip to Dallas, TX to compete at the 2026 USATF Masters Combined Events Championship in the W65-69 Heptathlon. Patricia was her normal amazing self, winning 7 of the 8 events to accumulate 3401 points and earn yet another National Championship. Clemmons finished 600 points ahead of 2nd place. Not only is her overall score a team record, but she set a new record in 3 events as well: 100m H – 18.46; 200m – 38.13; 800m – 4:11.69.
  • DeShazo Dominates
Allison DeShazo dominated the Women's 3000m at the SC Outdoor Championships, hosted by the Greenville TC, winning in 18:35.46. Her time eclipses the W40-44 record time of 19:14.82 by Andrea Easterday from 2024.
  • U20 National Champion
Julianna Wottawa followed up her NY Championship by winning the U20 National Title at 10 km in Hauppauge, NY in her debut at the distance. Wottawa covered the 10 lap course in 1:00:58 to finish 8th overall and 3rd woman. Additionally, she set a new overall team record on the road, besting the 1:02:13 by Cher Armstrong from 2015.

Also competing, but at the Half Marathon, was Alejandro Fernandez. He too was making a debut at a new distance. Fernandez covered the 21+ laps in 2:15:44 to finish 6th overall and 3rd man. His time is now the M30-34 team record for the distance, along with getting intermediate records at 15 km (1:35:50) & 20 km (2:09:03).
  • Welcome Aboard Cameron
The team keeps growing and growing, with our latest addition of Cameron Nocton, a 6x NAIA All-American in the Race Walk while at IU Indiana East. Cameron has PRs of 11:53.61 (3000m) and 20:52.79 (5000m), while also being a sub 16:00 5000m runner.
  • Adding Allison
The latest addition to the roster is Allison DeShazo, relatively new to Race Walking, but already accomplished. In her 2 races, she has won overall, finishing first at 5000m at the SWU Invite in 34:00.66 on 3/13, then following it up on 4/3 with an almost 4 minute improvement at the Electric City Invite in 30:04.46. We look forward to her taking over the record books and the medal podium as the season progresses.

Julianna Wottawa won the 3000m in the NY Championship at Icahn Stadium in a time of 18:02.89, besting her nearest competitor by almost 2:12. Next up is the USATF 10 km Championship in Hauppauge on May 31.
  • Limas and Bennett Newest Roster Additions
2 of the most accomplished and recognizable names in NAIA Race Walking over the last 4 years have joined the Raleigh Walkers to begin their post collegiate professional careers. Nathan Limas (Grand View University, Iowa) and Cole Bennett (University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky) have been a fixture at National Championships and routinely found the podium both indoors and outdoors during their collegiate years.
  • In Honor Of ... Alexey!
Alexey grabbed another silver medal in a local event, finishing in 20:24 at the In Honor of 5 km in Williamsburg, VA. His performance was first in the M 40-49 age division.
  • Dan The Man Is Back
Dan Nehnevaj returned to the podium at the Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic, winning the Half Marathon Walk in a time of 1:52:29. He finished 13:31 ahead of his nearest competitor.
